FASHIONCOMIC

The FASHIONCOMIC series combines two of my loves, comic books and fashion magazines. The works start out as analog collage. I leave a good amount of negative space. The collage is then photographed and brought into digital space where it is finished by purposefully mis-using the Content Aware tool in Photoshop to fill in the negative space by chance procedure.

Like a lot of my current work the FASHIONCOMIC series takes material and content that have strong gender binary associations and erases the boundary creating something new that lives outside of the binary.
