The STICKERBOOK series grew from one of the darkest moments in my life, which is why I love how bright and fun they are (ok there are a few dark ones). I was lost and didn't know what to do with myself and felt like I wasn't making any new art. But what I was doing, and all I could bring myself to do, was putting stickers on paper. At one point I realized I had over a hundred of these sticker collages and even started making custom stickers to add to the works.
These works are related to the FASHIONCOMIC series in that they are at some point photographed and brought into digital space where I purposefully misuse the Content Aware tool in Photoshop to finish the works by chance procedure.
My childhood love of sticker books guided me out of the darkness.
